Map Instructions
Click on the first link
called Kelowna Internet Map Viewer. This will open
another browser window for you. Let the browser load
completely (sometimes this is a little slow for the
initial loading). Once the city map has loaded and
the legend appears on the right – click on the
Search drop down and choose Properties. Now enter
the address of the home you’d like to see –
for example enter Street: Harvey Ave, Num: 1575. Click
on the magnifying glass next to 1575 Harvey Ave. and
the map will zoom to this location. You can zoom in
or out with the magnifying glass tool – try
zooming in one. To see the satellite image of this
property click on the word layers in the top left
of the screen. The layers will appear on the right
side. Click on the small check box next to Ortho Photos
– 2006 and click the refresh button at the top
next to the words Map Layers. Have fun zooming in
and out and seeing what different properties look
like from above. You can play with all the other layers
available and get all the information you need on
a property. |
