The Kelowna real estate market continues to
fluctuate. September 2002 average house prices
went from $200,585 to $216,342 throughout the
month. There was an increase from the September
2001 average of $192,869 which brings us up
to a 12.17% overall increase from the past year.
The number of Kelowna/Central Okanagan sellers
decreased this month. The number of units listed
in September is down 6.0% to 598 units over
last year’s 636 units. How many SOLDS
did we see? Kelowna buyers were busy as 395
units sold this year vs. the 318 units sold
last year. Days on market held steady at 82
days.
October 2002 - Central Okanagan Statistics
The Kelowna real estate market continues to
fluctuate. October 2002 average house prices
went from $216,342 to $206,508 throughout the
month. There was an increase from the October
2001 average of $192,281 which brings us up
to a 7.39% overall increase from the past year.
The number of Kelowna/Central Okanagan sellers
increased this month. The number of units listed
in October is up 2.2% to 649 units over last
year’s 635 units. How many SOLDS did we
see? Kelowna buyers were busy as 428 units sold
this year vs. the 339 units sold last year.
Days on market held steady at 82 days.
November 2002 - Central Okanagan Statistics
The Kelowna real estate market continues to
fluctuate. November 2002 average house prices
went from $206,508 to $212,703 throughout the
month. There was an increase from the November
2001 average of $188,025 which brings us up
to a 13.12% overall increase from the past year.
The number of Kelowna/Central Okanagan sellers
decreased this month. The number of units listed
in November is down 6.5% to 476 units over last
year’s 509 units. How many SOLDS did we
see? Kelowna buyers were still busy as 329 units
sold this year vs. the 280 units sold last year.
Days on market increased a bit to 87 days.
December 2002 - Central Okanagan Statistics
The Kelowna real estate market is on the rise.
December 2002 average house prices went from
$212,703 to $219,797 throughout the month. There
was an increase from the December 2001 average
of $200,336 which brings us up to a 9.71% overall
increase from the past year.
The number of Kelowna/Central Okanagan sellers
increased this month. The number of units listed
in December is way up 33.0% to 383 units over
last year’s 288 units. How many SOLDS
did we see? Kelowna buyers held steady as 235
units sold this year vs. the 230 units sold
last year. Days on market stayed at 87 days.
