2003 - Central Okanagan Statistics
The Kelowna real estate market continues to
fluctuate. September 2003 average house prices
went from $245,441 to $236,183 throughout the
month. There was an increase from the September
2002 average of $216,342 which brings us up
to a 9.17% overall increase from the past year.
The number of Kelowna/Central Okanagan sellers
decreased this month. The number of units listed
in September is down 6.72% to 555 units over
last year’s 595 units. How many SOLDS
did we see? Kelowna buyers backed off a bit
as 396 units sold this year vs. the 408 units
sold last year. Days on market held steady at
125 days.
October 2003 - Central Okanagan Statistics
The Kelowna real estate market continues to
fluctuate. October 2003 average house prices
went from $236,411 to $264,266 throughout the
month. There was a significant increase from
the October 2002 average of $206,508 which brings
us up to a 27.96% overall increase from the
past year.
The number of Kelowna/Central Okanagan sellers
decreased this month. The number of units listed
in October is down 7.52% to 615 units over last
year’s 665 units. How many SOLDS did we
see? Kelowna buyers backed off a bit as 392
units sold this year vs. the 411 units sold
last year. Days on market held steady at 125
days.
November 2003 - Central Okanagan Statistics
The Kelowna real estate market continues to
fluctuate. November 2003 average house prices
went from $264,266 to $244,675 throughout the
month. There was a significant increase from
the November 2002 average of $212,703 which
brings us up to a 15.03% overall increase from
the past year.
The number of Kelowna/Central Okanagan sellers
decreased this month. The number of units listed
in November is down 3.5% to 468 units over last
year’s 485 units. How many SOLDS did we
see? Kelowna buyers backed off a bit as 310
units sold this year vs. the 340 units sold
last year. Days on market dropped to 86 days.
December 2003 - Central Okanagan Statistics
The Kelowna real estate market continues to
fluctuate. December 2003 average house prices
went from $244,675 to $262,085 throughout the
month. There was a significant increase from
the December 2002 average of $219,797 which
brings us up to a 19.23% overall increase from
the past year.
The number of Kelowna/Central Okanagan sellers
finally increased this month. The number of
units listed in December is up 2.3% to 399 units
over last year’s 390 units. How many SOLDS
did we see? Kelowna buyers are back as 281 units
sold this year vs. the 223 units sold last year.
Days on market dropped again to 82 days.
